To Boot error ‘Bootmgr is missing in windows 7’

Sometimes windows 7 will show you error like ‘bootmgr is missing’ and suggest you a restart. Even though you restart the error will not go away and stops you from booting.
To boot this error,
Insert the Windows 7 Installation or Repair disk into your drive and reboot the System. You will be prompted to ‘Press any key to boot from disk’ so go ahead and press Enter.

Select the language and click next. In next step, select repair your computer.


Select Repair your computer option and the Operating System i.e. Windows 7 next. Click Next.


In some case, you may not find any operating system listed. Don’t panic just click Next.

In system recovery option, select command prompt.


In command prompt type the following command and enter.
bootrec /fixboot
bootrec /fixmbr
bootrec /RebuildBCD

After typing in command prompt, restart your windows 7. Booting problem will be fixed.
